SINSAENUM announce return with Tyrant Fest appearance

Death metal supergroup Sinsaenum have announced their return after several years of silence with an appearance at Tyrant Fest later this year.

The group, consisting of guitarists Frédéric Leclercq (Kreator, ex-DragonForce) and Stéphane Buriez (Loudblast), bassist Heimoth (Seth), and vocalists Sean Zatorsky (Dååth) and Attila Csihar (Mayhem), have been largely inactive since preliminary work on their 3rd album, the follow up to 2018's Repulsion For Humanity was brought to a halt by the sudden death of drummer Joey Jordison (Vimic, Murderdolls, ex-Slipknot) in July 2021.

It is not yet known who will be taking over from Jordison behind the kit for their upcoming performance, or if any further dates or music will come from it. The band had claimed in 2023 that they were in the process of mixing their next album, but have provided no updates since.

Tyrant Fest takes place 18-19 October 2025 at Le Métaphone, Oignies, and L'aéronef, Lille. Other confirmed acts include Alcest, Imperial Triumphant, and The Great Old Ones.
