MILLION DEAD announce reissue of "A Song to Ruin"

Recently reunited post-hardcore quintet Million Dead are continuing to capitalise on the popularity of their comeback by reissuing their long out of print debut album.

2003 effort A Song to Ruin was first released via Xtra Mile Recordings and immediately thrust the group into the spotlight. Their success and critical acclaim continued with 2005's Harmony No Harmony before the stress of touring and internal conflicts led to an untimely demise, with frontman Frank Turner subsequently embarking on a solo career which pushed him to further stardom in the British music scene.

Both albums had been out of print for several years before their 2025 comeback announcement, but the renewed hype has spurred on Xtra Mile to re-release both albums. Harmony No Harmony returned to physical formats earlier this year but fans have been left to wait for A Song to Ruin to come back. Now the wait is nearly over.

On 5 September, Million Dead's debut effort will finally be reissued on CD, while also seeing its first ever release on vinyl. Lucky fans, if they're quick enough, can also get an exclusive transparent blue pressing through Banquet Records - although this is in an extremely limited quantity so collectors had better act fast.

Pre-order the reissue of A Song to Ruin here. Million Dead are preparing to head on their reunion tour later this year, find tour dates here.
